Standard Proctor Test (ASTM D698 - 12e1)
Watch The Video And Fill The Checklist
Pre lab assignment 1- In the next session we are going to perform standard proctor tests on soil samples to find the optimum moisture contents and densities. Use the N/A option if the item is not required at the specific situation or if in the it is not clear in the video whether that part is performed correctly or not.
After finishing and submitting the checklist, you can see the opinion of other students completed the checklist so far. It's a good idea ti review the video and the standard text to see which answer is correct. Before coming to the lab, watch the video below and fill the checklist next to it and submit it at the end. We will discuss the results at the beginning of the next lab session.
Learning Objective- To be familiar with the procedure and the equipment used for the test before conduction the actual test
Privacy- The results of the survey are stored in a Canadian educational server and will not be used for any other purposes.The accumulative result will be available to other students to see but no name or identification of participants will be collected or shown.
